We went to Kroger today and as we were checking out a gal next to us (who I presumed to be about 25 years old) starts up a conversation that went like this:
Her: "You don't look old enough to have 2 kids."
Me: "Please, I'll be 30 next month."
Her: "30? Wow, I hope I look that good when I'm your age!"
OUCH!
Her: "You don't look old enough to have 2 kids."
Me: "Please, I'll be 30 next month."
Her: "30? Wow, I hope I look that good when I'm your age!"
OUCH!
I was really feeling OK about turning 30 this year until then.
Since when is 30 "your age"?

When you look around and little kids are driving. When you can' seem to find clothes that don't make you look like an old woman an yet, you can't quite understand the clothes of teenagers anymore. Haha ... wait till your as old as your mom and your first born asks you seriously as a 9 year old "mom did they have cameras when you were little? THANKS LOL
I had a "younger" woman come to me and said she wanted to ask my advice since I was a "Veteran" Missionary!!!! Seriously, I wanted to do some smack downs right then and there. I know I am at the age where I am an "elder woman" on the outside, but no where does it say I have to like it! CAn't I be wise without the old attached to it?
