Over the last few weeks, Garrett has begun to ask some of the hard questions in life, such as, "Where do cows come from?" and "What do baby goats drink?" and the like. So, I'm never surprised these days what he comes up with. Take this conversation for example:
Garrett: "Look at that sun...Jesus made that."
Me: "Yes, He did. He made everything and He is everywhere."
Garrett: "Is He coming to my birthday party?"
Me: (stuttering) "Umm, well,"
Garrett: "Where is His car?"
Me: "Jesus doesn't have a car."
Garrett: "He has a truck?"
Me: "No, Jesus doesn't have to use a car or a truck."
Garrett: (very matter-of-factly) "Oh, He has a tractor."

That is why Jesus said the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to children. While others are questioning God's existence, or at the very least his motives, children question nothing--they know who He is, what He does, and even what He drives :) God bless Garrett for such a great lesson. (And don't you feel blessed as his mother?)
